Whilst implementing the Environmental Management System on a national scale, the Environmental Advisor directly supports HSE and Management Teams within their respective jurisdictions at multiple levels within the business. The introduction of this role is timely and critical to support future planned programs of work, reduce external consultant engagement impacts, and deliver key environmental and sustainability objectives and commitments. What’s involvedDevelop, implement, and maintain Austal’s Environmental Management System.Assure that (for each Business Unit applicable) Austal’s Environmental Management System certification (ISO ISO 14001) is maintained.Provide technical advice and support to the HSE team regarding environmental matters. Environmental Aspects and Impacts are identified, assessed and responsible parties consulted/supported. The Opportunity

You’ll need
